Please select the blade type, Straight or Curve, according to your needs. Straight type is good for cutting thick stem and Curve type is good for trimming low water plants.270mm

ADA Pro-Scissors Short Curve for Surface and Precut Work

The curve-type Pro-Scissors Short is designed for precutting plants before planting and trimming the low water plants near the surface, two jobs that come up constantly in Singapore’s fast-growing warm tanks. The curved blade suits low foreground plants, following the substrate line so you skim a carpet flat rather than scalping it. We use it on the bench during a rescape to size stems and trim moss before they ever go in the tank.

For surface trimming, the short reach gives close control so you can snip floating tops cleanly without disturbing the rest of the scape. Precutting outside the tank keeps clippings out of your warm water, where they would otherwise decay and spike ammonia. Dry the blades after each use, as our humidity is unkind to steel tools stored damp in a closed cabinet.
