ANS Outflow Clear Connector for Gentler Return Flow

This clear acrylic connector clips onto your filter’s outlet to fan and soften the return flow, fitting both 12/16mm and 16/22mm tubing. We hand it to keepers whose canister or hang-on filter is blasting one corner of the tank, disturbing fine substrate or buffeting delicate plants and long-finned fish. By spreading the stream, it calms the surface while still keeping circulation moving where you need it.

At roughly 6.5 by 5.5cm it stays discreet on the outlet, and the crystal-clear acrylic keeps the view tidy in a planted scape. Gentler, well-distributed flow matters in our warm 27-29C tanks, where steady surface movement helps oxygenation overnight without creating a current that exhausts your livestock. Slot it on, aim the dispersion across the surface, and adjust until the ripple looks even end to end.
