ANS PRO TOOLS Scissor Wave for Singapore Aquascapers

The Wave scissor uses a 220mm wave-edged blade, a serration-style cutting line that grips slippery stems instead of letting them slide as you close the blades. That makes it a favourite for shaping dense stem groups and carpets, where smooth scissors can push plants away mid-cut. Like the rest of the PRO range, it is crafted from rust-resistant stainless with a superior finish for clean, repeatable trims.

The wave edge is genuinely useful on the fast-growing stem plants that thrive in our warm 27-29C tanks, where weekly shaping is the norm rather than the exception. A blade that holds the stem gives you a cleaner, more even cut, and clean cuts are what stop trimmings melting and fouling the water in this climate. As with all aquascaping steel here, wipe the blades dry and store them open after use so humidity cannot spot the edge.
