Trimming with the DOOA Aqua Scissors M

The Aqua Scissors M sits at 23cm, and we recommend this length to Singapore aquascapers running anything from a 45cm to a standard 60cm planted tank. The extra reach over the S model lets you trim midground and background stems from above without dunking your whole forearm, which matters when you are working over a tank wedged into a tight condo corner. The curved blades follow the contour of a carpet cleanly.

We like this size for routine maintenance trims where you want one tool that handles both foreground sculpting and taller stem tidy-ups. In our warm 27-29C tanks plants grow fast, so frequent light trims keep scapes dense rather than leggy. Always dry the blades thoroughly afterwards, since constant humidity here will spot bare stainless if you leave it wet in a cabinet.
