The Multi Scraper is a hand tool for the algae a magnet pad cannot shift, namely hard green spot algae and the chalky mineral film that builds along the waterline. The blade slices coralline and spot algae flush against the glass, while the broader edge handles general film. We hand it to customers whose magnet cleaners leave a haze of crusty spots on bright, well-lit front panes.

Singapore’s warm, bright conditions accelerate green spot algae on display tanks, especially those near windows, so a periodic scrape keeps glass genuinely clear rather than just smeared. Work top to bottom and keep the blade angle shallow to avoid gouging silicone seams or scratching acrylic; on acrylic tanks use only a plastic-blade fitting. Rinse and dry the tool after use so it does not corrode or grow mould in our humidity.
