Stable warmth at 27-29C means stem plants and fast growers put on length quickly, so a planted tank here needs attention every week or two to stay in shape. Sharp, clean cuts also help plants heal and bush out rather than rot at a crushed stem. After each session, rinse and dry the blades to fend off the corrosion our constant humidity encourages on metal tools.
