Coarse green fish net for everyday Singapore tank work

A coarse-mesh net like this is the workhorse we reach for when moving sturdier fish or scooping debris and uneaten food during a water change. The open weave lets water flow through quickly so you are not dragging a heavy pocket of water, which makes chasing a fast tetra around a planted layout much less stressful for everyone. The two sizes cover most HDB and condo tanks, from a nano up to a four-foot community.

Coarse mesh suits adult and medium fish; for fry, shrimp or fine-finned species we suggest a soft fine-mesh net instead, since the larger holes can snag delicate fins or let tiny stock slip through. Rinse and air-dry the net fully after use, as our humidity will keep a damp net smelling off and can stiffen the mesh over time.
