The Nano size is built for the compact tanks that suit HDB and condo living, where shelf and desk footprints rule out anything large. Its small ceramic disc produces the same fine mist as the bigger Opti units but on a scale that won’t overwhelm a 30cm cube or a planted shrimp bowl. We recommend it constantly to first-time aquascapers setting up their very first injected nano.

Site the diffuser low and opposite your filter outflow so the rising mist gets carried around the tank rather than blowing straight out. With small water volumes the colour on a drop checker reacts quickly, so dial your bubble rate up gently and watch over a day. In our warm climate the disc still needs an occasional bleach soak to keep the pores open and bubbles fine.
