The DOOA CO2 Mini Diffuser (10) for small tanks

This is the 10mm filter version of the CO2 Mini Diffuser, built for small DOOA tanks where a full-size diffuser would be oversized. The 10mm ceramic disc produces a fine mist suited to the lower CO2 demand of a nano planted tank, dissolving gas efficiently in a limited water volume. It is the size we usually recommend for the smallest cubes and bowls in the Singapore nano scene.

We find a correctly matched diffuser makes a real difference in our local water, which is soft and takes CO2 readily; too large a disc on a tiny tank just wastes gas and overshoots. The finer the mist, the better the contact time as bubbles drift up. Soak and clean the ceramic periodically in a diluted bleach solution, then rinse well, as warm tanks here build biofilm on the disc over time.
