Description
The Twinstar “New Style” diffuser uses ultra-fine porosity ceramic stone to produce super fine bubbles. It generates smaller Micro-bubbles for improved CO2 distribution and will last longer in the water, which increases its carbon dioxide solubility efficiency.
It is made of high-quality acrylic with transparency like glass while retaining higher impact strength than glass for better shatter resistance. Therefore it is not easy to crack like other cheaply made glass diffusers when separating from the aquarium for a cleaning. With the unique ceramic stone and Acrylic bonding technologies, they are durable enough to withstand high pressure for extended reliability.

Dissolving CO2 efficiently with the Twinstar diffuser
The point of an ultra-fine ceramic diffuser like this is contact time: the finer the mist, the longer those bubbles linger and the more CO2 actually dissolves before reaching the surface. For the high-tech planted tanks many Singapore aquascapers run, that efficiency means you can hold a healthy CO2 level without cranking the bubble rate, which is gentler on livestock and on your cylinder. The acrylic body also shrugs off the knocks that crack cheaper glass diffusers during cleaning.
Position the diffuser low in the tank, ideally beneath the filter outflow, so the mist gets carried across the plants. Pair it with a drop checker to confirm you are in a safe range, and always run CO2 on a timer that shuts off before lights-out, since plants stop consuming it at night and levels can climb. Soak the ceramic in a gentle solution periodically, as our warm water encourages biofilm that slowly clogs the pores.
