EasyBooster 25 phytoplankton Gel
EasyBooster is a suspension in gel form comprised of marine microalgae and marine minerals that can be preserved at room temperature for over 18 months.
Phytoplankton or marine microalgae are microscopic vegetable cells that can be found dispersed in the sea. Phytoplankton is at the base of the food chain in aquatic ecosystems and serves as food for higher organisms like zooplankton, filter feeders and plant-eating corals.
Marine phytoplankton is considered a superfood because it contains vitamins, essential fatty acids (EPA, DHA, ARA, GLA), essential amino acids, proteins, carbohydrates, minerals and bioactive compounds involved in the metabolic activities of all living beings in general, and of marine organisms in particular.

Easybooster Composition:
Isochrysis T-ISO (33%) / Nannochloropsis (31%) / Tetraselmis (18%) / Phaeodactylum (18%) The special characteristics of each one of the micro algae in this formula provide an optimum nutritional profile for aquarium animals.
Dosage:
The dosage varies slightly depending on the load of organisms in the aquarium. Generally, this is set between 8 ml/ day (base or maintenance guideline) and 16 ml/ day (medium-high demand) for an aquarium with a gross volume of 1000 liters.
Instructions for use:
The Easybooster dose should be distributed throughout the day and is not necessary to turn off the skimmer. Easybooster should be used in increasing weekly doses as per the following protocol:

1st week: 2ml / day
2nd week: 4 ml / day
3rd week: 6 ml / day
4th week: 8 ml / day (basic or maintenance dose).

After the 4th week, you can increase the dose by 2 ml weekly until reaching high levels of zooplankton production to serve as feed for fish, invertebrates and corals. For correct dispersion, Easybooster must be introduced in the aquarium in the area around the pump that produces intense water circulation.
A dosing pump (not included) can be used to add Easybooster 25 automatically to the aquarium.
WHAT MAKES IT UNIQUE?

The nutritional balance of its microalgae mix. A single species of microalgae does not always provide the nutritional requirements of the marine aquarium inhabitants, so it is sometimes necessary to supply several species to obtain a correct balance.
It is the product in the market, in liquid form, with the highest concentration of cells, 5 x 109 cells/ml, and it does not require refrigeration during storage to maintain all its original nutritional properties intact.

For Singapore reefers, a shelf-stable phytoplankton is a real convenience: our warm, humid climate is unkind to live cultures, which crash easily without a chiller and constant attention. EasyBooster’s gel format sits at room temperature for many months, so you skip the hassle of maintaining bottles of live algae in a hot HDB or condo kitchen. It feeds filter feeders, zooplankton populations and plankton-eating corals at the base of the reef food chain.

We suggest dosing small and consistent rather than large and occasional. A little each day, or on a dosing-pump schedule, keeps food in the water column without spiking nutrients. Target the flow so it disperses across the rockwork and reaches sponges, clams and soft corals rather than settling. Always start conservatively, watch your nitrate and phosphate, and build up gradually as you learn how your particular system responds.
