Sizes & Dimensions,
Bonsai Tree 17F – S (23 x 17 x 10cm)
Bonsai Tree 17F – M (30 x 23 x 13cm)
This intricately handcrafted bonsai is ideal for aquascaping. The curiously twisted tree trunks ensure good stability and give the impression that the bonsai is more than 100 years old. The fine branches can be planted with moss or other small epiphytes like e.g. Bucephalandra or Anubias barteri var. Nana ‘Pangolino’ to enhance a natural impression.
Each piece is absolutely unique. The woods are pre-assembled before they reach Aquasabi, so we do not have any influence on the form or exact dimensions. The sets cannot be opened and no alternations can be made. The portrait fotographs serve as examples. The delivered wood pieces differ in form and size according to the table below.
The wood is not pre-watered which is why the time to sink may vary.
ANS Bonsai Tree 17F (S/M) for Aquascaping in SG
This handcrafted bonsai-style driftwood form gives you an instant centrepiece, its twisted trunk and fine branches reading like an aged miniature tree once dressed with greenery. The S size at roughly 23x17x10cm suits nano and small display tanks, while the M at around 30x23x13cm anchors a mid-size layout. Because each piece is assembled before it reaches us, every tree is unique in form, so treat the dimensions as a guide rather than an exact spec.
The branch tips are made for planting moss, or small epiphytes like Bucephalandra and Anubias barteri var. nana, which over a few weeks knit into a convincing canopy. In our warm, humid climate, attach plants with thread or cyanoacrylate gel and keep flow moving so the canopy stays clean. A bonsai scape thrives at low light without CO2, making it a forgiving, low-maintenance display for busy hobbyists.
Soak new wood before scaping if it tends to float. Explore our decorations range, and our bonsai tree aquascape guide and Anubias planting guide walk through dressing and maintaining the tree.
