The NFF-41B is a 60x45x2cm three-dimensional EPS foam backdrop with a concave-convex relief surface, designed to give terrariums and reptile enclosures a natural rock-face look. Being flame-retardant, non-toxic and lightweight, it’s an easy way to add depth and climbing texture to a tank without the weight of real stone, which is a bonus for wall-mounted or shelf-set enclosures in a flat.
One of its best features is how easily it cuts, so you can trim a sheet to fit boxes and tanks of different sizes, or shape ledges and hides into the surface. The manufacturer advises against using it in snake or crab tanks, so keep that in mind when planning. For most reptile and amphibian terrariums, though, it’s a quick path to a far more naturalistic, enriching layout.
