The SUDO E-25 Dokan Mini Ceramic Shelter

The SUDO E-25 Dokan Mini is a small handmade ceramic tube, 90 x 50 x 50mm, ideal for nano tanks and smaller fish that still want a proper hiding spot. The open-ended tube design gives shrimp, small loaches, kuhli, and dwarf species a snug pass-through retreat, and it works well as a spawning site too. Being inert unglazed clay, it stays neutral in the water, leaving pH untouched and adding nothing to a delicate planted or shrimp setup.

In the compact tanks favoured across Singapore’s HDB and condo homes, every centimetre counts, and the Dokan Mini packs useful shelter into a tiny footprint. Shrimp in particular gather around tubes like these to graze the biofilm that forms on the rough clay, while shy fish use the bore as a safe refuge.
