SUDO S-1827 Tunnel Ryuboku Bark (Small) Aquarium Shelter
The S-1827 takes SUDO’s tunnel concept and styles it as a curl of peeled tree bark, a more organic, irregular shape than the smoother log version. At around 130x80x40mm it’s a small piece suited to nano and shrimp tanks, the format most Singapore flats accommodate best. The realistic bark texture gives a planted scape a weathered, natural edge, while the open underside becomes a shaded shelter that small fish and shrimp tuck into during the day.
Being resin, it carries the practical advantages we value in a tightly managed tank: no tannin leaching to cloud the water, no buoyancy fight before it stays down, and nothing to shift your pH or hardness. That makes it a clean choice for shrimp keepers running careful parameters and for anyone who wants the driftwood look without the tea-stained water it usually brings. Seat it firmly against substrate or rockwork so it can’t be nudged loose, and face the opening toward an open swimming lane.
