UP AQUA CA-D-004-BR Natural Clay Hiding Decoration

This porous decoration is made from natural clay, giving small fish and shrimp a cave to retreat into while the material itself offers extra surface for beneficial bacteria. Singapore nano and shrimp keepers like that one piece works as both a hide and a tie-on point for moss or epiphytes, using thin thread to attach plants to the rough surface. Over time it blends into a scape and stops looking like an added ornament.

Shy species such as shrimplets, small tetras and young fish settle far better when they have somewhere to vanish, which reduces stress in a busy community tank. The porous clay also supports the biofilm that shrimp graze on, useful in a maturing tank. We suggest a quick rinse before adding it, and avoid scrubbing with detergent, since residues are hard to flush out and can harm sensitive invertebrates.
