Zhen De Turtle Cave 405M for Compact SG Setups

The 405M is the mid-size cave in this series, a sensible fit for juvenile terrapins or the smaller tubs many SG keepers run on an HDB service yard. The textured dome gives a young slider or musk turtle a dark place to rest out of the light, and shy fish in a mixed semi-aquatic tank will tuck under it too. Its modest footprint leaves room for a basking spot without crowding the water level.

Cast from dense, non-toxic resin, it sits stably on bare-bottom or gravel floors and shrugs off our warm 27-29C water without fading. Because turtles foul water quickly, lift and rinse the cave each water change so muck does not collect underneath. Set it where your turtle can reach it easily but clear of the intake, and angle the opening toward open water so the animal feels secure rather than boxed in.
