Cast from inert, aquarium-safe resin, it is unaffected by our warm 27-29C tropical water, soft local tap supply or year-round humidity, and it will not leach into the tank. Like all textured ornaments here, it will gather a thin algae film over time; a gentle clean in old tank water during maintenance keeps the detail sharp, and shrimp will graze the biofilm too.
