SUNSUN 602B / 603B 6W Canister Filter (Non-UV) for Compact SG Setups

The 602B and 603B are small outside-the-tank canister filters that sip just 6 watts while moving roughly 400 L/hr. Their compact bodies and secure edge clips make them a tidy choice for nano and small community tanks where a hang-on or internal filter feels cramped but a full-size canister is overkill. Sitting in the cabinet below the tank, they keep the display glass clear of bulky equipment.

With no UV stage, these run as straightforward mechanical and biological filters, which is all most small planted or shrimp-friendly tanks require. In Singapore’s 27-29C ambient, even small tanks benefit from solid biological media to keep ammonia and nitrite in check between water changes. Layer sponge and floss ahead of ceramic media, and always rinse media in old tank water rather than chloraminated tap so you do not kill off your nitrifying colony.
