BOYD Chemipure Green for Planted Tanks in Singapore
Chemipure Green is the planted-tank version of the blend, formulated to polish water and remove dissolved organics, tannins and toxins while deliberately leaving the micro and macro nutrients your plants need. Standard carbon can strip fertilisers and trace elements an aquascape relies on, so this version is tuned to clarify without starving the tank. For SG aquascapers chasing both clear water and healthy growth, that balance is the whole point.
In our warm 27-29C planted tanks, clearer water means deeper light penetration, which directly benefits low-growing carpet plants and species sitting further from the light. It also helps tame the yellow tint that driftwood tannins leave in our soft local water. Place the rinsed bag in an area of good flow within your filter, and replace it on schedule, since it works as a complement to dosing and CO2 rather than a substitute for them.
