Hailea RP Filter Cartridges (RPK-200/400/500) Replacements

These RPK cartridges are the consumable filter inserts for Hailea’s RP internal filter range, sold in 200, 400 and 500 sizes to match the corresponding pump. Keeping a spare on the shelf saves you scrambling when a clogged cartridge starts choking flow, which in a small tank can happen within weeks. Each insert handles the mechanical and chemical stages, trapping debris and carrying activated carbon to polish out discolouration and dissolved organics.

In Singapore’s warm 27-29C water, organic waste breaks down quickly and cartridges load up faster than in cooler climates, so we generally advise replacing the insert about monthly to stop trapped muck overwhelming your biological filtration. Confirm the model number against your filter before buying, since the three sizes are not interchangeable. When you swap, leave any seasoned bio-sponge in place so you don’t reset the bacterial colony and trigger a mini-cycle.
