Odyssea FP-04 Phosphate Filter Wool

This Odyssea cut-to-fit filter wool serves as a fine mechanical polishing layer in top filters, canisters and sumps, trapping fine particulate to leave water visibly clearer. Supplied as a 10×18″ (25x45cm) sheet, it cuts easily with scissors to fit any tray or chamber, so you can size it precisely to your setup. As a polishing media it works as the final mechanical stage after coarser sponges have caught the bulk of debris.

In Singapore’s warm tanks, fine waste accumulates quickly with heavy feeding, and a wool polishing pad noticeably sharpens clarity between water changes. Because fine wool clogs faster than coarse foam, treat it as a regularly replaced consumable rather than something to scrub indefinitely, and seat it where flow passes evenly through it rather than channeling around the edges.
