This glass inflow is the intake half of the lily pipe set, and its slit design is what aquascapers value: water draws through the narrow openings rather than a single wide mouth, so withered leaves and floating debris are far less likely to get sucked in and clog your canister. The straight profile keeps it discreet against the back glass of a frameless tank, preserving that clean, hardware-light look ADA is known for. It is rated around 10 L/min flow, suited to roughly a 90cm tank.

In our experience the one routine task is clearing leaves that catch on the slits during heavy planting trims, an easy wipe at water-change time. Glass pipes also show biofilm and the diatom film that thrives in warm Singapore tanks, so periodic cleaning keeps both flow and clarity up. Handle it gently during installation; thin aquascaping glass is easy to chip against a tank rim.
