Usage:
We recommend to switch on the UV-C sterilizer for 24hours and change to new lamp after 6-8months. Please do not view the UV-C light or place in UV-C lamp into the main pond, as it extremely harmful to human and fishes. It should be place in the filter compartment and covered. The J-series spans 15W to 40W across 48-109cm lamps, putting it firmly in pond and large-system territory rather than nano aquariums. For Singapore’s outdoor koi and garden ponds, that power is exactly what you want, since our intense year-round sun drives persistent green-water blooms that a small unit can’t keep up with. Sizing the wattage to your water volume is the key decision: an undersized lamp simply won’t clear a large, sun-baked pond no matter how long it runs.

UV-C clears green water and knocks back free-floating bacteria, improving clarity without dosing constant algaecides. We always stress the safety points the maker flags: never look at the lit lamp and never drop it into the main pond, since UV-C harms fish and eyes. Site it inside a covered filter chamber where water passes through shielded. Replace the lamp every 6-8 months as output decays even while the bulb still glows, otherwise sterilising performance quietly drops off.
