UP AQUA G-031 Outlet Tube for Canister Filter Returns
The G-031 is the return-side outlet that sends water back into your tank from a canister or external filter. Available in 12/16mm and 16/22mm to suit common hose sizes, it gives a directed stream you can aim along the back glass or down toward the substrate. For aquascapers who want a discreet alternative to a wide lily-pipe flare, this slimmer outlet keeps the hardware minimal while still moving the whole water column.
In Singapore tanks running warm year-round, aim the outlet so the surface keeps a light ripple, which boosts overnight oxygen exchange when CO2 is off. Combined with an inlet on the opposite end, it sets up a clean circular flow that prevents dead spots and detritus build-up behind decor. Periodically pull and brush it during maintenance, as biofilm inside any outlet gradually narrows the bore and weakens the return.
