This is the floating version of Hikari’s premium goldfish diet, built around colour enhancement and steady growth for fancy goldfish like oranda, ryukin and fantail. The floating format lets the pellets sit at the surface so you can watch each fish feed, which is handy for the round-bodied fancies that can be slow, fussy eaters. We stock the 300g size as a sensible daily staple for an indoor goldfish tank rather than a pond.

One thing to watch with floating pellets and fancy goldfish in Singapore tanks is air gulping. Round-bodied varieties are prone to buoyancy and swim-bladder issues, and snatching pellets at the surface can make this worse. Pre-soaking pellets for a few seconds helps, and at our 27-29C their digestion runs quickly, so several small feeds beat one large serving. If a fish struggles to stay level, the sinking version of this diet is the better choice.
