Feeding NF Mixed Pellet to your community tank

This 1kg bag of small to medium two-colour mixed pellets is a practical everyday staple for general community fish, from barbs and rainbows to larger tetras and gouramis. The mixed sizing means a single tub covers a range of mouth sizes, which is handy for the typical mixed-species tank we see in most Singapore homes. Buying by the kilo also brings the cost per feed right down for busy or well-stocked tanks.

The most common mistake we correct in our climate is overfeeding. Warm 27 to 29C water raises fish metabolism but also speeds the breakdown of uneaten food into ammonia and nitrate, fuelling algae fast. Feed only what your fish clear in a couple of minutes, once or twice a day, and skip a day each week. Reseal the bag tightly and keep it somewhere dry, as our humidity will clump and spoil pellets left open.
