PRO DEFENCE SIZE XXS – 100ml/70g
Food With Probiotic For Fry
And Small Species Of Fish
Hi-protein slow sinking micro granules (0.5 mm) with probiotic for everyday feeding of fry and adult fish of small species
Probiotic added to the food contains viable Bacillus subtilis endospores, which stabilize gut microflora, boosting fish resistance to pathogens and facilitating utilization of nutrients, which in turn accelerates fish’s growth and reduces contamination of water with fish’s feces
The synergic effect of probiotic, beta-glucan, vitamins and carotenoids significantly enhances the immune system of fish, increasing their resistance to pathogens
Probiotic increases the survival rate of the fry and its resistance to stress
High content of protein, including essential amino acids, ensures healthy growth and development of fish
Properly selected vitamins, macronutrients and trace elements prevent avitaminosis, rickets and supports organ and bone development
Pro Defence Size XXS: Probiotic Micro Granules for Fry and Nano Fish
The riskiest moments in any Singapore tank are when fish are newly introduced, recovering from transport, or still tiny fry, and that is where a probiotic food earns its place. Pro Defence Size XXS delivers hi-protein slow-sinking micro granules at just 0.5mm, small enough for fry and nano species. The added Bacillus subtilis is intended to support healthy gut microflora, which can help fish make better use of their food during these vulnerable phases.
We like the 0.5mm grain for densely stocked nano and grow-out tanks where bigger pellets simply pass uneaten fish by. In our warm 27-29C water metabolism runs high, so frequent small feeds keep fast-growing juveniles fuelled. As always, gut-support foods complement good husbandry rather than replace it; stable parameters and clean water do the heavy lifting, especially after the stress of bagging and acclimation.
