SHRIMP STICKS sticks for freshwater and marine crustaceans. Multi-ingredient, sinking sticks, intended for everyday feeding of freshwater and marine crustaceans, including very popular freshwater dwarf shrimps. Spirulina is the source of valuable vitamins and active substances, which together with natural immune stimulator – beta-glucan – activate crustaceans’ immune system, increasing their resistance to diseases.
SHRIMP STICKS has also been enriched with natural carotenoids including astaxanthin. They keep crustaceans in excellent condition, enhance their coloration and facilitate molting process.
Shrimp Sticks with Spirulina for SG Shrimp and Crustacean Tanks
Dwarf shrimp are hugely popular in Singapore’s nano scene, fitting neatly into HDB and condo spaces where a full fish tank might not, and they need food sized and formulated for grazers. These sinking sticks are made for freshwater and marine crustaceans, including the cherry and bee shrimp so many local keepers run. Spirulina supplies plant-based nutrition while beta-glucan is included to support the shrimps’ natural defences.
Sinking sticks suit shrimp behaviour: they settle where the colony forages and stay put long enough for slow, methodical grazing rather than dispersing instantly. We tell keepers to feed sparingly, only what the colony clears in a couple of hours, because in our warm tanks excess shrimp food is a fast route to ammonia spikes and unwanted pest snails. Remove any uneaten remnants to keep water pristine, which matters most for sensitive shrimp.
