Description
Spirulina Granulat
SPIRULINA GRANULAT is a food in the form of slowly sinking granules with the addition of spirulina (6%) for everyday feeding of herbivorous and omnivorous fish in freshwater and marine tanks. Spirulina platensis is the source of easily-assimilable protein, vitamins and trace elements, which ensure proper growth, development and excellent condition.
It is also rich in natural carotenoids, which intensify colours and positively affect many physiological processes, including growing and breeding. The addition of zeolite promotes a healthy digestive system and the release of toxins from fish’s bodies.
FEEDING: several times per day, using small portions.
Tropical Spirulina Granulat for mid-water grazers
The granule version of this spirulina food sinks slowly, which makes it a better pick than flakes when your herbivores and omnivores prefer to feed below the surface. We often suggest it for community tanks where mid-water and lower-level fish miss out on floating flakes; the slow-sinking pellets give everyone a chance before the food reaches the substrate. The plant-based formula supports steady colour and condition without overloading fish on protein.
Granules hold up slightly better than flakes against our humidity, but we still advise keeping the tub sealed and scooping with a dry spoon, since damp granules clump and spoil. In warm 27-29C water uneaten food fouls quickly, so feed small portions several times a day rather than one big drop, and watch that bottom-dwellers are actually clearing what settles.
