Tropica Cryptocoryne Wendtii ‘Green’ 1-2-GROW! Explained
The 1-2-GROW! format means this wendtii ‘Green’ arrives as tissue-cultured plantlets grown in a sealed cup, completely free of algae, snails and pest hitchhikers. That matters in Singapore, where shared tanks and warm conditions let pests spread quickly, so starting clean spares you a lot of grief. You get many small plants from one cup, which you separate and plant out for fast, even coverage.
Wendtii ‘Green’ is famously adaptable, thriving across a wide range of light and even in harder water, and its 10-15cm rosette settles into the mid-ground of almost any tank. Rinse the gel from the roots, divide into small portions, and plant each with a little spacing. Because tissue-culture plants transition from emersed growth, expect some early melt before robust submerged leaves take over.
