Crystal and red bee shrimp have a strong following in Singapore, and this food is formulated around their needs, with chitin and calcium-supporting ingredients tied to the moulting and shell-building that healthy growth depends on. The sinking format lets a whole colony graze on a single piece at once, which suits the way bee shrimp feed in clusters rather than darting for floating flake. It also pulls them into the open, so you get a proper look at your stock.
We always stress restraint with shrimp feeding. A small amount that the colony clears within a couple of hours is plenty, and uneaten food breaks down quickly in our warm 27-29C water and can spike nitrogen in a sensitive Caridina tank. Feed every other day, let the biofilm on your hardscape and substrate carry them between feeds, and remove any leftovers to keep parameters stable for the colony.
