NOMOYPET ND-10 UVB 3.0 Bulb for Turtles and Reptiles
UVB lighting is one of the most important elements of reptile and turtle keeping, because it lets animals synthesise vitamin D3 and properly use calcium. Without adequate UVB, turtles and lizards are prone to metabolic bone disease and shell problems, no matter how good their diet is. This UVB 3.0 bulb, available in 25w and 50w, is a moderate-output option aimed at supporting healthy growth, digestion and shell development in captive reptiles.
UVB output fades long before the bulb stops giving visible light, so we replace these on schedule rather than waiting for them to burn out. Position the bulb so your animal basks at the correct distance, with no glass or plastic between bulb and reptile, since those block UVB. In Singapore’s warm rooms, watch that the basking zone does not overheat while you provide the UV your turtle needs.
