Replacement Ballast for Twinstar Series II Light Units

If your Twinstar II went dark but the LED bar seems intact, the ballast is the usual culprit. This Version 2 unit is the matching replacement across the Series II line, spanning the 12V 4A models (300E, 350E, 360E, 450E, 600E, 300C, 350C, 600C and 600E), the 24V 1.5A 450E, the 24V 2.4A 450S and 600S, and the 24V 5A 1200S. The voltage and amperage differ across these, so confirm the rating printed on your old ballast before purchasing the correct one.

External power bricks fail far more often than the LEDs they drive, which is good news: you keep your fixture and swap a low-cost part. In our climate, the enemy is humidity pooling inside a sealed cabinet, so route the ballast somewhere ventilated and slightly elevated. Test by connecting the bar to a known-good supply first; if it lights, the ballast was the fault. Keep the barrel connector clean and dry, since corrosion there mimics a dead ballast and is easily mistaken for it.
