Running the Week Aqua A430 Pro over an SG planted tank
The Week Aqua A430 Pro is a high-output RGB-UV full-spectrum LED suited to planted tanks roughly 45 to 60cm wide, and we recommend it for aquascapers chasing strong colour rendition and the punch needed to grow demanding carpeting plants. At 120W and 7200 lumens it is a serious unit, so most local hobbyists will run it well below full power through the app and a timer rather than blasting it, which is the surest way to invite algae in our warm, nutrient-rich tanks.
Heat is worth a thought here: the fins and side ventilation help, but in a closed cabinet or poorly ventilated HDB corner we suggest leaving airflow around the fixture so it runs cool and lasts. Note the app control is Android-only and the light shade is a separate purchase. A consistent photoperiod, typically six to eight hours to start, paired with your CO2 and ferts, gives steadier growth than long hours that mainly feed algae.
