How To Safely Add Fish To Tank

1. Set live stock aside with transportation bag in room temperature place for 30 minutes.
2. Then transfer bag to float in aquarium for another 30 minutes
3. Use a fish net to transfer the live stock by scooping it from the bag into the tank.

Note: Do not release live stocks together with the transportation water into tank.

Keeping Badis Ruber in a Singapore Nano Tank

Badis ruber is a small, secretive dwarf fish that colours up beautifully once settled, and it’s a quiet favourite among local nano keepers who want something less common than the usual community stock. We acclimate ours carefully, and we’d ask you to do the same on arrival: float the bag, then add tank water in small amounts over half an hour so the move is gradual rather than a shock.

They want a calm, well-structured tank with plenty of cover, driftwood, leaf litter and dense planting, where they can claim small territories. Our soft, slightly acidic tap water suits them, and at 27-29C ambient a heater is usually unnecessary. They can be shy feeders, often preferring small live or frozen foods over flake, so keep tank mates gentle and undemanding.
