The DOOA Cascade Brush S for Wabi-Kusa Wall upkeep

The Cascade Brush S is a specialist cleaning tool made for the cascade spillway on the DOOA Wabi-Kusa Wall. In any terrarium running that wall, emersed plants grow thickly and the narrow spillway channel gradually collects algae and washed-down soil mud, which restricts the trickle of water. This slim brush is shaped to reach into that channel and clear it without disturbing the surrounding emersed planting.

In our experience Singapore’s warmth and high humidity push emersed growth along briskly, so spillways here can clog faster than in cooler climates. A quick weekly pass with the brush keeps the cascade flowing evenly and prevents the mud build-up that leads to channelling or dry patches on the wall. Rinse the bristles under tap water afterwards and let them air-dry fully before storing.
