UP Aqua TK-UW-DK-SA41 Paludarium Tank for SG Builds
This low-front aquascape tank comes in 30, 36, 45 and 60cm sizes, and the reduced front glass height is what makes it a natural paludarium base. The lower front lets you build up an emersed land section, mosses and ferns above the waterline while keeping a clear view into the aquatic zone. Note that it’s the tank only; the matching 3D background is a separate purchase, so plan your hardscape and layout before ordering.
Paludariums actually play to Singapore’s strengths. Our high ambient humidity keeps emersed plants and mosses happy with less misting than drier climates need, and at 27-29C many tropical riparium and marginal plants thrive. Keep airflow in mind to avoid stagnant, mouldy conditions in an enclosed HDB corner, and use dechlorinated water for the aquatic section since our tap is chloraminated. A low-front tank like this is forgiving for a first wabi-kusa or mossy build.
