How To Safely Add Fish To Tank

1. Set live stock aside with transportation bag in room temperature place for 30 minutes.
2. Then transfer bag to float in aquarium for another 30 minutes
3. Use a fish net to transfer the live stock by scooping it from the bag into the tank.

Note: Do not release live stocks together with the transportation water into tank.

L-168 Gold Ring Butterfly Pleco: A Standout Display Catfish

The L-168, known as the gold ring butterfly pleco, is one of the more striking loricariids we stock, marked by bold dark-and-gold patterning that earns it a place as a feature fish rather than just a cleanup crew member. These plecos appreciate well-oxygenated, gently flowing water and plenty of driftwood, both for grazing and for the cover that helps them settle and show themselves more confidently. They are best suited to keepers who already run a stable, mature tank.

In Singapore, our warm 27-29C water suits them, though they are sensitive to poor oxygenation in our heat, so keep flow and surface agitation strong. Provide rasping wood and a varied diet, and quarantine new arrivals carefully, as wild-type plecos benefit from a slow settling-in. They are not algae-only fish, so plan their menu rather than expecting them to live off the glass.
