The Pontec PondoPress Set 5000 pressure filter kit
The Pontec PondoPress Set 5000 is a pressurised pond filter kit with an integrated UVC clarifier and filter pump, rated for ponds up to 5000 litres unstocked or roughly 2500 litres with fish. The big advantage of a pressure filter for Singapore gardens is flexibility: because it runs sealed and under pressure, you can tuck it out of sight or push treated water uphill to feed a raised stream or waterfall, which suits the tiered layouts common in landed-property courtyards here.
Its clever clean mechanism lets you backflush without dismantling the housing, handy during our wet monsoon months when debris loads spike. Position the pump and filter to drain safely, and shade the unit from harsh afternoon sun to extend UV-lamp and seal life.
