Styling betta bowls with SUDO S-8751 Orange Sand

This 150g pack of jewel-like orange glass sand is sized for the small betta jars and desktop bowls so many Singapore keepers run at home or on the office desk. Because it is glass rather than mineral, it stays inert: it will not shift your pH or leach anything into our already soft, slightly acidic tap water, which matters when bettas do best in stable, gentle conditions. The bright orange grain pops against a single betta and reads beautifully under warm LED light.

We suggest a thin even layer rather than a deep bed, since glass sand is decorative and detritus shows up against the bright colour. A quick rinse before adding clears packing dust, and a gentle weekly siphon over the surface keeps it vivid. In a heaterless 27-29C room a simple bowl with this base and a few plants makes a tidy, low-maintenance betta display.
