A floating or resting ornament gives semi-aquatic turtles like red-eared sliders and the local terrapins something to interact with, and many keepers use a small toy to add interest to an otherwise bare tank. Designs and colours are assorted, so the piece you receive may differ from the photo, but each is sized to sit safely alongside a basking area without crowding the swimming space.

When you add any ornament to a turtle tank, give it a rinse first and check there are no sharp edges or small parts a determined turtle could chew loose. Turtles are messy feeders, so in our warm 27-29C water uneaten food and waste break down fast around decor; a good filter and regular cleaning keep things from turning murky during humid weeks. Avoid clutter that traps debris where it is hard to siphon.
