Turtles are heavy waste producers, so filtration and water changes matter more than tank size alone. In Singapore’s warm climate many local terrapins do not need a heater, but they do need a dry basking spot and, ideally, UVB for shell and bone health, which the tank itself does not provide. Keep the water clean, do not overstock, and remember a small turtle grows, so plan an upgrade path before it outgrows the villa.
