The JEBAO SCP50 Crossflow Wavemaker for SG reef and large planted tanks
The SCP50 is the smallest of JEBAO’s crossflow range, and we find it a sensible match for nano and small reef builds or larger planted tanks where you want laminar, wide flow rather than a narrow jet. The dual-impeller crossflow design spreads current across the front glass, which is exactly what helps lift detritus off the substrate so your filter can carry it away. That matters in Singapore where stagnant pockets warm quickly and breed nuisance algae.
WiFi and app control let you schedule flow modes around feeding and lights without standing at the tank, handy in a compact condo setup. The low-water shut-off protects the unit if evaporation runs high during our humid stretches. We always suggest aiming the flow to skim the surface a little too, since good gas exchange keeps oxygen up when room temperatures climb.
