OASE StreamMax Classic Circulation Pump for Aquariums
The StreamMax Classic is an in-tank circulation pump for freshwater and marine setups, moving water to eliminate dead spots, lift detritus into the filter intake and keep oxygen and nutrients distributed. Its adjustable output and up-to-90-degree aimable head let you tune flow from a gentle planted-tank drift to stronger current, while the included magnetic holder convertor mounts it cleanly on the glass. It also restarts automatically after the power returns.
That auto-restart is genuinely reassuring during Singapore’s monsoon-season outages, when a pump that comes back on its own spares you from cloudy water or a stalled system after a trip. Good circulation also helps in our warm tanks by improving surface gas exchange, since warmer water holds less oxygen. Position the pump to sweep the substrate and reach the far corners, and dial the output down for delicate plants or shrimp that dislike heavy flow.
