Tsurumi Submersible Sewage Pump – 50PU2.75S

The PU-series is a submersible vortex pump designed for raw sewage, wastewater, and liquid carrying solid matters. It is made of resin and 304 stainless steel and excellent in corrosion-resistance. The vortex mechanism provides practically unchokable operation in sewage pumping. Liquid paraffin is used for the lubricating oil, which widens the application of the pump to decorative waterfalls, fishponds, aquaculture, etc.

Dual Inside Mechanical Seals – Isolated in the oil chamber where a clean, non-corrosive and abrasion-free lubricating environment is maintained. Compared with the water-cooled outside mechanical seal, it reduces the risk of failure caused by dry-heating and adhering matter

Tsurumi 50PU2.75S submersible pump for Singapore ponds

The Tsurumi PU-series is a submersible vortex pump, and this 0.75kW model moves serious water at up to 21,600 litres per hour through a 50mm bore. The vortex impeller passes solids up to 35mm, so it shrugs off the leaf litter and debris that clog ordinary pond pumps. While it is rated for sewage and wastewater, that same near-unchokable design makes it a strong workhorse for large koi ponds, waterfalls and water features where reliability matters more than finesse.
