Picking the Right Tank

For planted tanks, pick an aquasoil — ADA Amazonia II ($35 for 3 L bag) or the budget-friendly UNS Controsoil ($22). For a shrimp-focused scape, Fluval Stratum buffers pH for Caridina. For inert rock gardens or biotope setups, fine natural sand works at a quarter the cost. Substrate depth of 3 cm is ample for nano plants; 5 cm at the back for terracing.
Lighting That Grows Plants Without Algae
