How To Safely Add Fish To Tank

1. Set live stock aside with transportation bag in room temperature place for 30 minutes.
2. Then transfer bag to float in aquarium for another 30 minutes
3. Use a fish net to transfer the live stock by scooping it from the bag into the tank.

Note: Do not release live stocks together with the transportation water into tank.

Albino Bristlenose Pleco: A Compact Algae Worker

The Albino Bristlenose Pleco is a pale, golden-cream version of the popular BN pleco, prized because it stays small, rarely exceeding around 12-15cm, unlike the common pleco that outgrows most home tanks. The bristly-snouted males are charming, and the fish earns its keep grazing algae off glass, wood and broad leaves. Its modest size makes it one of the few plecos genuinely suited to the compact tanks common in HDB and condo homes here.

For Singapore keepers, bristlenose plecos thrive in our warm 27-29C water and appreciate a piece of driftwood to rasp on, which aids their digestion. They are largely herbivorous, so supplement algae with sinking wafers and blanched vegetables, especially in a clean newer tank without much natural growth. Provide a cave or hollow for daytime shelter, and acclimate slowly on arrival so the move from our holding tanks to your water is gentle on them.
