How To Safely Add Fish To Tank
- Set live stock aside with transportation bag in room temperature place for 30 minutes.
- Then transfer bag to float in aquarium for another 30 minutes
- Use a fish net to transfer the live stock by scooping it from the bag into the tank.
Note: Do not release live stocks together with the transportation water into tank.

The Albino Tiger Oscar is a striking pale-and-orange variant of one of the hobby’s most charismatic cichlids. Oscars are intelligent, interactive fish that quickly learn to recognise their keeper and beg at the glass, which is a big part of their appeal. They are also genuinely large, so they belong in a spacious tank on their own or with carefully chosen robust tankmates, not in a small community setup where they will dominate.
For Singapore keepers, the most practical considerations are size and waste. A full-grown oscar needs a sizeable tank with strong filtration, and that volume of water carries real weight, so check floor loading before siting a big tank in an HDB or condo home. Our warm 27-29C water suits them well and rarely needs a heater, but their messy, heavy feeding means frequent water changes are non-negotiable. Acclimate young oscars slowly on arrival.
