Description

The Hailea CPA-120 AC/DC Air Pump produces high air pressure and operates at low noise. When it is AC powered, the internal battery gets charged automatically. When power is cut off, the air pump will continue to run on battery for up to 8 hours.
The pump switches to DC mode when AC is cut off. This ensures no disruption to the air supply of your aquarium.
The air output is adjustable to meet the needs of your aquarium. Comes with intelligent micro computer control system on board, and safe battery technology.

Hailea CPA-120 AC/DC Backup Air Pump in Singapore

The CPA-120 is a higher-output member of Hailea’s AC/DC family, built for hobbyists who want stronger aeration with built-in outage protection. On mains it runs normally and keeps its internal battery topped up; when power is cut it switches to DC and continues running, so a tank full of fish never goes still during a blackout. For Singapore keepers that automatic handover is the appeal, removing the scramble to find a battery pump when the lights go out mid-storm.

Output is adjustable, so the same unit can drive multiple sponge filters in a fish room or a single well-stocked display. At our typical 27-29C room temperature, warm water holds less oxygen, so maintaining aeration through an outage is more urgent here than in temperate climates. The microcomputer control and safe battery technology mean you can leave it set up and largely forget it until you actually need the backup.
